A ZEN Affiliated Professional – either a ZEN Coordinator or a ZEN Contractor – comes to your house to meet with you, discuss your priorities and goals, and define what practical steps you can take to eliminate or sharply reduce your use of fossil fuel.


This person will then take detailed measurements, inspect the envelope and energy systems, and test for air infiltration and efficiencies. 


The layout of house and its existing distribution systems is also studied for best replacement heating system options, and the site is inspected for potential renewable energy opportunities.
